Copying and pasting texts on Android is very simple and can get you out of trouble more than once. Follow these steps to do it:

  • Locate the text you want to copy. It can be on the Internet, in your notes, in a WhatsApp conversation, or any other.
  • Make a long press on the text you want to copy to highlight it. You will notice that the highlighted text will have two controls that will help you to highlight more fragments of the text if you wish.
  • Next, a small menu will appear with various options. In this case, select “Copy”.
  • Now, to paste the content that you copied previously, go to a text box. This can be in a text messaging app, notes, in the browser, a document, etc. To do this, make a long press where you want to paste the text, you will see that a menu will appear again, and select the “Paste” option.

The process for copying an image is not as simple as that for texts or links. Also, depending on the version of Android you have installed on your device and the application you use, it may or may not be similar. Even so, we show you the simplest process applied to Google Chrome :

  • Go to Google Chrome and find the image you want to copy.
  • Next, keep a long press on the image until a pop-up menu appears, and then select “Copy Image”. If you wish, you can also use the “Download image” option to save it in the gallery or folder you want on your computer.
  • You can use the option “Download image” so that it is saved in the gallery
  • Now, go where you want to paste the image and long press until a pop-up menu appears and choose the “Paste” option.

How to Use the Android Clipboard
