If you know how to access Snapchat’s ” Memories ” feature, you can move on to learning how to actually use it. If you want to upload photos or videos stored locally on your device to Snapchat using the “ Memories ” feature, you need to be able to navigate the intricacies of this feature,

Here’s How to Do it

As mentioned before, the Memories screen will contain multiple tabs. The ones you need to take care of are the All tab and the Camera tab. If you want to share a picture or video clip on Snapchat picked up using the camera Snapchat, just a tab all if you want to be. However, if you are looking to share a photo or video that was not taken with the Snapchat camera to the social media platform, then you need to switch to the Camera Roll tab.

In the Camera Roll tab, you’ll see every single photo or video on your device’s storage. Locate and tap the photo or video you want to share, or put it as a Snapchat story. This will bring up a preview of the image or video.
If you want to share the photo or video as is, tap the blue Send button in the lower right corner of the screen.

If you want to make optional edits to the photo or video using Snapchat’s popular editing tools before sharing it, tap the three vertically aligned white dots in the top-right corner of the screen and tap Edit Photos or Edit Videos in the context menu resulting. Once you are done making edits to your photo or video, click the blue Submit button in the lower right corner of the screen.

You’ll be transported to the Send To page now. On this screen, you can choose whether you want to upload the photo or video as a Snapchat story or send it to specific people through the app. In addition, if you wish, you can add a message to be delivered with the selected photo or video.

Once you decide how to share the selected photo or video and with whom you want to, just tap the blue Send button in the bottom right corner of the selected photo or the video will be sent on its way after being displayed on the screen.
